I think it only fair to AC to start a thread with a positive subject at the top. After my fright of last week, I find the system is working brilliantly for me - working non-stop in the background, topping up, buying new loan parts, and selling them, leaving me free to get on with my life. Despite the sell off I did not want (the recurrence of which has now been prevented) all my cash was working again with a couple of days. I know there are still issues with the way some information is presented, but I also know that some of this is due to the multiplicity of different types of hardware being used to access the site. I might resent the way so much is orientated towards mobile phones and tablets with their tiny screens and even tinier keyboards but AC can hardly ignore the growth of that market sector. On balance, if the display issues on my laptop are the price I have to pay for the new functionality, then I am happy to pay it. As I said before, it's well on its way to becoming the Rolls-Royce of P2P sites.

The "aftermarket" functions are working very smoothly for me now that I have full control over individual loans and can disable MLIA on them when I just want to maintain the status quo. Roll on the ability to stay logged in for longer periods while reading this forum's erudite contributions to my knowledge (or perceptions) base!

I agree progress is being made and the system now seems to do what most of us want. Keep up the good work.
I hope to carry out a little experiment shortly with a group of people of mature age who are interested in P2P. Apart from giving a short talk I will demonstrate a couple of P2P sites and see how quickly they are able to use them. At the moment I am thinking of AC FC and SS but I might look at others. This will test the KISS principle in action. More in a couple of week.

I hesitate to say this as I don’t want to tempt fate and something goes wrong, things do look to be improving but why are loans 133 Lei***tershire C*re H*me and 143 C*E W*nd T*rb*ne P*rtf*li* Loan both showing “Manual investment disabled”? Or have I missed something by becoming hacked off (I’m being polite) and not bothering to read the mind numbing amount of questions and answers since the site update?

I believe you may have disabled your manual investment settings. To re-enable it (if this is what you desire) click through to the loan and toggle the "active / inactive" switch to re-enable manual investment.

I have 133 and it is also disabled. I think they may be coming over from accepted bid to live with this setting as I noticed this first time I saw the loan in my loans list. Personally I am not unhappy with this setting just posting as I suspect it may not have been a user action as Colin suggested ( although of course it is possible).
Has anybody else got 133 set to disabled ?
ps Wouldn't bother me if the default setting was changed either.

Thanks Colin, that’s the solution but I have to say that yet again it is not obvious to someone who hasn’t the time or the inclination to be sussing out the complexities of how a website functions.

Totally understand. We'll work to add some help messaging for these loan badges when "Help Mode" is turned on.

Without being seen to be belittling the problems that have beset the birth of the new website (I'm as frustrated as as the next lender on that score) can I add a little levity by reminding everyone of the song 'Camp Granada' by Allan Sherman.

There still remains a fundemental flaw in the statements which are unreconcilable and their content variable dependent on the settings for where repayments and interest payments are directed from the MLIA

Oh no, not more hassle with AC!!! Enabling manual investment is enough for me for this week, I know that there is a flaw with the reconciliation of statements but that will have to wait as I haven’t the time to investigate further at present, besides which, I’m starting to go glassy eyed at the slightest mention of the AC website.
Said with a big dose of irony.
