We've been told that it won't be long before we can set a target investment amount -- so that buying instructions would be generated automatically whenever a principal repayment is received -- so perhaps that change will make the situation clearer. (We've been told all sorts of things "won't be long" - I've learned not to hold my breath where AC is concerned!) I'm now officially finding it tiresome trawling through the statements to find capital repayments so I can cancel the relevant buying target and re-instate it at a slightly larger amount. Anyone got a second-hand FC bid bot for sale that I could re-purpose?

I just encountered the changed Invest dialogue. I already had an investment, I wanted to invest more. (eg from 200 to 500) I wasn't sure if the amount I was filling in was the increase in my total investment to 500 (as used to be possible), or a new investment of 300. The way it works is the latter, which is fine, but the words don't make it at all obvious. Perhaps the form shouldn't just say 'how much do you want to invest' and instead say something like 'how much more than your current holding do you want to invest'. We've been told that it won't be long before we can set a target investment amount -- so that buying instructions would be generated automatically whenever a principal repayment is received -- so perhaps that change will make the situation clearer. That'll do it - and it isn't even exactly software. Chris assuming you are reading this, and remembering an earlier comment of yours about the development process, I thought the right way round with user interface stuff is to write the instructions first, and if the job is well done then that amounts just to writing the dialogues and maybe a few bubble helps, and writing the code after when the guinea pigs are showing an ability to use it. Not to give a false impression I rate your site as the very best of the lot. For which thanks.
