I must have posted just after the new date was added and before the actual message was added - I've just checked again and they're visible now thank you.

Loan 69 has had a "Recent Activity" note added today. Those updates seem to have been posted 60-90mins after the last update date changed, 10.36 & 11, whereas our original posts were 9.15 & 9.30. They have also moved above #84 in a sorted list whereas before they were at the bottom of loans updated on 20th. Still cant still anything updated on #84 today. Some delay in posts showing, whereas updated date changes instantly now?

If it were me I would add the update first and then change the date in the 'browse loans' update column. I'm clearly just an amateur though.

The two are linked in the database and will happen at the same time. There must have been some other update before the "Recent Activity" note was added. Perhaps a Q&A answer?

Not at the time I looked (and checked twice more before posting).

Interesting. I'll keep an eye on it guys and see if there is an issue over the next 24 hours of changes.

Interesting. I'll keep an eye on it guys and see if there is an issue over the next 24 hours of changes. #84 Still cant see anything with today's date in any of the areas which would trigger a last update - most of the questions are unanswered after a week and there's no update showing -must be an amendment to something already there or a removal. (apologies if Im being blind) Its a relatively minor thing, but it is causing some confusion - as evidenced by a number of questions in Q&As seeking an unfound update - and is another one of those annoying little IT niggles that just irritate lenders unnecessarily.

It is somewhat mystifying that 'we' can see the gremlins that crop up, while 'they' report that it's all working as expected.

On thinking this through again I have the beginnings of a theory that may explain the mystery. As those who browse quantum physics journals will be aware, when reality is observed close up, quantum fuzziness takes over from Newtonian physics. In this case it is caused by the dividing of our money into infinitely small quantities by the operating system. Thus 'problems' with the website will pop in and out of existence, and can never be exactly defined by all observers at the same time. The solution would appear to be to start counting only whole pennies and perhaps donate the quantum shrapnel to some charity, thus doing good whilst simultaneously restoring reality to the platform.

Having monitored this we found that "Last Updated" was being set when unpublished content was changed for a loan. For example, a draft answer to a question would have triggered the "Last Updated" date to be changed. We've just set a fix live to resolve this.

Seems to have an effect as #84 has been demoted back to the 17th. Thanks.

Colin 'last updated' doesnt seem to be changing now when a question is posted eg. #136. Is this a change or a glitch? #165 loan listed in 'upcoming' but is giving a '404 not found' error when clicked. Any chance of a fix so we can peruse over the long weekend?

Minor suggestion: the first time you click to sort the loans by "Last Updated", it ranks them from the oldest comment to newest. This seems pointless as we're always looking for the newest comments, so have to click again. Could the default order be reversed so that the first click ranks the list from newest to oldest?
