Not sure when it started but all my bad debts are now collecting at the top of the page all with next payment date since 22 December, this includes loans defaulted back to March time, looks like another IT issue.
Is this happening to others as well

Is this happening to others as well There is not space at the top of the page for the bad debts - they take most pages. But it does seem that the default order (future payment dates) has changed and you can no longer order the loans by payment date.

I also have the first page full of Bad Debt loans but the whole list is not ordered by status, there are BD loans and others mixed on later pages. I also can still order by payment date? What might have happened is that they stopped updating the Next payment dates to the next date in the future on a pay date even if the payment is not made? I suspect this because the Bad Debt loans on page one have pay dates late Dec / early Jan. This was different in the past as far as I remember.

The default sequence is no longer future dates from today, but just the dates from earliest to latest.

MY bads don't have the last payment date plus a months they are all since 22 or whatever of December, I'm sure FRC have changed something that means that bad debts will longer appear throughout the list but will all appear on the first page, which I'm sure will infuriate some people when they see these at the top of the list

You may have had a large number of loans that all paid on the same day? You could check for the loans in question if they always paid on the 22nd in the past (click on loan title in the Portfolio list, then on Repayments). I have nothing suspicious in my loans.
The Bad Debt loans appear in front / on top of the list because those that still do pay get their Next dates regularly updated, so naturally fall later then the Bad one (unless, apparently, a loan runs out of its scheduled time completely .. I have two loans that have no Next data at all but should have been fully repaid last year).

I have three residual accounts to look at, with some very old defaults. They have made a change, but it may be unintentional - that has been known. The default order is not by status but by the date of next payment, the earliest such date being 22 Dec 2019. Those which have no date are at the end (my very old four-digit bad debts are at the end with no date). The fact that most of the bad debts come first - not all because the order is date - is due to the fact that live loans, and I think late, have a next payment date in the future. Yes it will upset people, but usually with FaultyCode the cock-up theory is the one to choose.

What you write is basically what I see, too. I have only some 25 loans left, none of them due on the 22nd; mine start at the 28th Dec. Quite likely the bug (or feature) was introduced on the 22nd.
[[ (The following may belong into the AC sub board: )
I write "feature", because I like that one could order loans at AC's MLA by next payment date to see late payers. That also has been spoiled recently, when suddenly a good number of (until then) non-suspicious loans had payment dates in the past, partly back to 2017/18 (eg 389, 664, 669, and more .. ). These dates appear to come from unsettled "monitoring fees" and usually not from scheduled payments. They spoil the sorting - beside, should we be scared about unsettled monitoring fees?

I have bad loans from 23rd at top so consistent with a glitch from 22nd onwards. They cannot be intending to highlight all the bad loans to us...
