I dont want to use PLEX because it keeps records of everything your watch and I dont want that, I noticed when my internet went down nothing would play...why? its supposed to be a local connection...so this tells me they wont LET you lay unless they KNOW what your playing...NSA/GCHQ ANYONE? ??
Are there any DLNA alternatives I can use with my PC storage and my 55" LG B8 OLED...?
thanks

of course the simple answer is that if internet down presumably router down, therefore items connected to router can't see each other
