Just noticed this website called uown seems quite similar to British pearl. Was wondering if anyone had any feedback about it ? Is it worth a small punt ?

One has successfully completed with a high percentage return. There's a board on them here. I'll let you read it rather than repeat the info here. EDIT: Fixed link.

What are the tax implications of uown? I looked at them before but was a bit confused about how the various elements would be taxed.

According to the tax statement: Rental income and development profits are listed as dividends. Profits/losses from selling rental properties and transaction costs are shown as capital gains/losses. I haven't needed to complete a tax return this year, so I haven't done much investigation yet. Does anyone know if it's legitimate to consider transaction costs as a capital loss?

Is it profitbale for invest? I've only had 1 investment complete so far, but it did very well; see p2pindependentforum.com/post/342559/thread. I have also received regular rental income from the BTL type loans on time.
