Vanquis? The credit card company who will accept virtually anyone? Uh-oh.
On the plus side, they might increase FC's interest rates to the levels Vanquis is accustomed to charging, i.e., 40% plus.

A replacement from Vanquis, I assume as Del Boy was otherwise engaged. And the share price rockets past 80p as someone with high level lending and banking expertise replaces someone from Autotrader...

I'm not sure where the article got the idea that "This morning, shares in Funding Circle were up 3.84 percent to 80.40p." As far as I can see, FCH spent most of Friday between 82 and 84p, before dropping to 80.40p first thing today, and then heading lower since.

The new CFO joins the recently appointed Strategy Director who has never worked in financial services outside of FC. But she did do a gap year in Tanzania.
