The latest daily update from Mintos had a link to a questionnaire about their upcoming API. I think (and also told them) that with the auto-invest functionality being laggy and unpredictable, introducing an API without fixing it may backfire. Investors might end up downloading a "homebrew auto-invest" script from Github en masse to be able to front run the official auto-invest strategies, with the main effects being that server load would increase, and Mintos would move even further away from a passive investment platform.
Am I too pessimistic? Anyway, is anyone here currently running scripts on Mintos? Do you plan to use the API when (if) it becomes available?

I don't like API because of the Bots. Manual investing will become lowest food chain. I notice the platform is laggy today.

Same opinion. It's like crypto mining against farms of ASIC. No longer geeky, just boring.
I wish Mintos keeps its reasonable volumes and stays away of High Frequency Tranding.
