According to the source above 278,000 investors have invested €5 billion, in other words, average investment per investor is around €17k right?

Facts from Mintos stats

- Total value loans originated: €6.1 billion
- Total amount of loans outstanding: €757 million
- Average investment per investor: €4.3k

This is a terminology error on Mintos website used by the article, what they actually mean is over €5 Billion leant. Obviously a lot of this is monies repaid and relent not all of it is money invested.

If you look at the statistics page the average investment is €4,255. So the total invested is around €1.2 Billion based on those figures

That would be my guess too. However, outstanding loans according to statistics page is around €760 millions, where are the rest €440 millions? It could be the total uninvested money in bank accounts, but then, again, Martins said in a recent interview that total uninvested sum is just €27-30 millions. Am i missing something?

It could be median is used for the average instead of mean
