Having seen the AC email of 10 Mar saying we had to (or should) use the new Depositing Funds page to indicate how much money we wished to deposit and to which account, I gave it a go today....didn't work!. Nowhere to indicate how much I wished to deposit (unlike the help page). Contacted Livechat who told me it wasn't implemented yet.

Ready to go, just waiting for the go ahead from the rest of the business. Should be later this morning.

Looks like the reference to be used is different from the current one I use, but if I make multiple deposit requests they all have the same reference against them
I'm unclear as to how standing orders work - the blurb suggests you can set them up but there's no option to set up recurring, so looks like you need to remember to go in each month and set up a deposit placeholder?
Not really sure what the benefit of this thing is given that unique references existed already for each account, and if a user submits without a reference it's the same process as previously? Would make more sense to let referenced deposits through and use the new process for those without a reference?

Yet another bit of additional administration for lenders.
100% of changes to AC that I've seen that make the platform less user-friendly and more time-consuming.

I don't, maybe this speeds up there addition process, something in-house I imagine then.
I don't believe this really makes it anymore diffcult for us to add money, its just a extra step which ensures more security, as we have seen I'd rather regulators be happy with security in place than cause a rukkus in the future with the platform.

Before P2P, savers put a guinea in a piggy bank, now they smash the banks to become guinea pigs.

chris, stuartassetzcapitalI've got an ISA Transfer on route to AC, and it might arrive today (Friday 13th). How do I control which account the money goes into? Eg, I wouldn't want the money to be tied up in an access account if it can't be invested in MLA loans.

As long as you don't have the "Invest Idle Funds" option enabled on that cash account then it should be fine.

chris , stuartassetzcapital What about standing order? Do I have to inform AC every time before the bank process a standing order?
