Have you considered asking a direct question of RS for breakdown of per market figures perhaps they can help as its a safe bet I can't as I don't have a clue how they are split internally I just have a feeling that APM markets were probably going to be the biggest utilised as to be honest without using the ratesetting capabilities of all the products one just gets what RS proffers at the time. The 50;50 is all you are going to get, if you want more you could try sending Mr Lewis an eMail its his statement he might take pity and offer some glorious snippets that might help or he will ask someone to help. I doubt RS wil offer it up but hey nothing ventured nothing gained always seems to work for me. I understand your concerns I really do but sadly the only way you are going to get the answers you are looking for is to go to the mountain for want of a better term, its certainly isn't coming to you. I already have - see here and here. You even liked the second one of these posts and it was only a week ago... As for the rest of your post, I'm afraid I really don't know what to do with this as once again you're suggesting uncertainty about things we already know and have established (re A/P/M new lending vs. RYIs), and I'd rather not spend my time re-explaining these things over and over again. Well I guess that's it then what more can you do but try I guess, and computer says no! So it's just a long wait or the people RS keep suggesting are cancelling catch every up with the backlog and every one is happy again. One person I do know is happy is Mrs Aju, she's probably not going to be quite so concerned now we recovered a good deal today so alls well that ended well. Except I've got a lot spreads to fill out having got all that juicy info to check from our loan sales. I'll record it for future reference of what not to do - wait until one is at the end of the queue as its likely the bus will be full when you get to the front... I wish I could type as quick and accurately as Mrs Aju but I guess i'd need training...

Edit: Actually, when I first asked them specifically about the per-market breakdown (see here), you even replied ( here) saying "at least they acknowledged it was business decision". No wonder we keep raking over things time and time again As for the rest of your post, I'm afraid I really don't know what to do with this as once again you're suggesting uncertainty about things we already know and have established (re A/P/M new lending vs. RYIs), and I'd rather not spend my time re-explaining these things over and over again. What, I haven't knowingly done anything that changes my status to yours. can you show me what you mean. i wonder also if i'm suffering from alzeimers perhpas...

A piece of data that’s kind of interesting, might not be useful yet, but maybe when combined with some other bit of data in the future. The QIF data shows since 24th July, the APM and 1yr markets have barely moved while the 5yr has moved apace. This allows us to partially disentangle the population data as now we’re looking at really the 5yr only rather than a mush of all of them.
In the two weeks after 24th July, QIF 5yr stepped on by about 470 pips. In the two weeks from 27th July, Ratesetter say they freed up £5.2m RYI. Unfortunately, those two week timeframe aren’t precisely aligned, which makes what comes next only approximate. But dividing one by the other shows the average RYI amount for 5yr-only investors at that time as £11k. That’s interesting to compare with Ratesetter’s main published Performance Data of total assets £773m, investors 87000, the average platform investment is about £9k. Those figures are broadly comparable.
Unless there’s a massive coincidence, that suggests - i) 5yr investors have a similar average investment size to the total platform, and therefore to APM investors. They aren’t a different population. ii) The RYI’ers don’t appear to be either whales or minnows. They are roughly typical investors. iii) By May 4th, those 5yr investors who were RYI’ing, were pulling out the majority of their money. This wasn’t just people pulling out a small fraction for a few months operating cash just in case. That doesn’t make things either worse or better. The only difference is that it implies a moderate % of people were RYI’ing everything rather than everyone RYI’ing a moderate %.

Where do you find 'status' I can't see anything obvious in my profile? (Not wanting to gatecrash another dispute) I just don't know what it is, what it says or where to find it.

I've only just figured out twitter is a ball of fun!

I see now what you mean now, what does it normally say, i've deleted it for now so all is back to normal, I assume. I've well an truly entered the asylum I think, Mrs aju has found some of my ancestors in varying degrees of asylums so perhaps the writing is on the wall for me. I knew we should have gone to the USA instead of cancelling I need a rest I think. Anyway apologies for confusing you and myself but all's well that ends well.
