Can some one please tell me how I transfer part of my isa money to a cash ISA.Can I just sell the loans and withdraw or does it need transferring by ratesetter

You have to complete an isa transfer form provided by the organisation you are transferring to (I.e. the cash ISA provider in your case). You can only transfer funds held in cash, so you'll need to sell your loans first.

Thanks I know there's a wait for withdrawals but I think its time to reduce my Isa investment a bit having withdrawn a fair amount out of the standard account

Note that a significant number of cash ISA providers don't allow transfer-in from an IFISA
