The action of blocking the visibility of our accounts until we vote is the lowest form of constructively influencing our actions I have ever seen. Agree or Disagree ?

Disagree - it's a software bug.

Disagree - it's a software bug. I'd really like to think so but to be honest I'm a little sceptical about that. Granted bugs happen but I'd like to know what kind of testing they did that allowed something so blatantly apparent to slip through.

Disagree - the offer they make is honest.

The same testing they did when loads of people tried to withdraw their cash on the 12th March and the customer service told them they had an IT bug that will be sorted. We all know the truth later on. Total Cow Boy behaviour...…………...No trust in anyone in this company

If it's a deliberate action to force a vote, effectively withholding ££ and loan info it is very low action, if it's accidental, then it needs to be rectified asap, and any votes cast to gain access before this embargo is lifted be canceled and reset.

Beta site! so now not only i am supposed to vote before I can see my account, but I need to go on a beta site to see why. On top of that AC have gone back on a promise they made when they they knew the full well the financial implication re the *** loans. Trust has never been further from my mind

A fair point but there's a world of difference between a first view of an under development Beta environment and a highly important announcement on the live site. I'm not saying it isn't an unfortunate oopsie, it's just raising an eyebrow.

In an ideal world you have an IT department sitting together in an office. Software change will be specified, technically approved, developed and implemented by a number of staff working together.
Today Assetz staff are working from home. Possibly some will be unwell or self isolating. A business decision will have been made and immediate implementation demanded.
So while demanding perfection consider the teaching of John (8:7) - He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her

As I've said, I don't doubt bugs happen and I'm not demanding perfection - but seriously it's the first thing you're faced with the second you log in.

It wasn't a bug per se, more an oversight in that the team were tasked with getting the vote live in a short timeframe. It will be corrected tomorrow morning.
