As I've said, I don't doubt bugs happen and I'm not demanding perfection - but seriously it's the first thing you're faced with the second you log in. It wasn't a bug per se, more an oversight in that the team were tasked with getting the vote live in a short timeframe. It will be corrected tomorrow morning. Thanks Chris, a mis-communication from management I can believe

I'm willing to believe you, pro-tem, chris , but I will be checking tomorrow morning - the moto is : trust, but verify! :-).
This has not been handled well!
Note also, please, that despite the vote having a deadline of 6th April (a full week away - so urgency is no excuse) it is NOT currently possible to amend your vote once cast - another deviation from the standard voting procedure - so consider carefully before you commit, people!
Whilst I strongly support the proposal, I equally strongly depracate the unneccesary mistakes made in its presentation.

Baldpate Give them some slack. With all they've had to do in the past 2 weeks, yes only 2 weeks not surprising mistakes are made.

jasonnewman - Can you state what your motives are!? You’re spamming every thread and starting your own trying to get your angry POV across. (Fair enough the post I quote isn’t angry or a good example but a lot of your others are) Do you not watch the news? Are you living in the real World? Are you even an Assetz investor? If you are then you’re acting in a way where you seem you’d rather lose everything just to get at AC. I disagree entirely with your sentiment and actually trust AC are doing there very best in the most difficult of circumstances. If we’re all going to see returns on our investments it will be through trusting AC through this rather than fighting them.

I simply want my money back and what AC management have done so far has made me very angry - Locking investor funds and telling them it is an IT glitch initially - Keeping a blog that is very hard to read and one that is not doing what it said it would i.e. pro rata withdrawals. People with small accounts should get small refunds rather than getting a large % of their cash back and eventually not incurring any losses - Changes the terms and conditions of business - Charging investors membership fees on locked funds -Not engaging with investors on these boards for most of the last 2 weeks I could go on - the situation is what it is but management actions and they way they have dealt with this looks poorly on them. That is my view you can disagree but that is my view.

It wasn't a bug per se, more an oversight in that the team were tasked with getting the vote live in a short timeframe. It will be corrected tomorrow morning. Still seems to be there. Can it be taken down until has been properly coded to be bypassed to allow access the site as normal? I think in the absence of a full FAQ resolving all the anomalies contained in the text the process lacks validity. The fix will be live in the next 10-15 minutes

Would it be possible to cancel the original vote to stop THE NORMAL COMPLAINERS saying why should they have to email. Also reduce office workload. Thanks AC

Also reduce office workload. Thanks AC I suspect that's largely irrelevant … I don't envisage any of the 'disgusted of Tunbridge Wells' seeking to change their No votes

/Mod hat off
Look, I understand that emotions are running high at the moment, particularly following the email sent yesterday and the lender vote, but I would urge users not to snipe at each other. It can only harm the interests of lenders and investors in AC.
By all means challenge points from other users but please don't let it get personal.

Its now the afternoon and I still cant log into my AC account without answering the survey. Why wasn't this corrected this-morning as promised and when will I be able to access my account without completing the survey?
