I have a number of loan parts which have been on sale for a fortnight. Their sale should have expired yesterday and the parts returned to the 'Sell Individually' tab. However they are still in the 'loan parts for sale' tab with a time left of 0m 0s. De-listing doesn't work either. They are not due for a repayment and are not processing or late. Anyone else enjoying this new feature? John

Yes, I've experienced that several times. On one occasion, it resolved itself after about an hour. When it happened yesterday, I got impatient and asked it to de-list the parts, which in this instance did work for me.

Yes, I have experienced that. Best to de-list and re-list them before time out. That assumes that they are actually on sale rather than shown to you as on sale. I listed about 50 yesterday to transfer and one loan of twenty parts did not appear, as seen from another account. You cannot assume they are actually on sale just because they have moved to your loan parts for sale. Good is not the word for it.

Seems to be all ok now. The problem must have been related to this morning's general website failure.

May I ask what happened to the parts that you put on sale yesterday (that did not appear to another account)? Did it resolve itself eventually? I sometimes wonder whether some loan parts I have on sale are really visible, but I do not have the luxury of another account to verify. You will recall that visibility has been a known problem in the past.
I picked up a few loan parts on the SM the other day at 14.9%; They didn't appear excessively toxic, so in that instance I was wondering whether perhaps no-one else (especially buying bots) could see them, but that's another story...

I was transferring them from one account to the other via the SM. All went into parts for sale and most were purchased on the other account. One loan of 20 parts did not appear at all, and I had to de-list and re-list before they appeared and could be bought. This is not a new problem. I think that the parts were not put up for sale - not that some can see them and some cannot.

Another account is free, you don't even need to fund it, but you will need a separate email address (gmail works OK).
Of course if you could see your own SM parts ( maybe with a note that they are yours, or a block on buying) this rigmarole would not be needed and the SM list generation at FCs end would be easier too .. Right now everyone has a different view generated and sent!
Just one of many 'not thought thru' website issues.

I assume the accounts can be funded from the same bank account and only the email address (your FC ID) needs to be different. I'm thinking of putting my property loans into a separate account. John

Yes, same bank account is fine. In my case the other account belongs to my better half and we have a joint bank account. One word of advice though is to choose a name different from the first account, so that 'signed in as' is distinctive and you know which account you are in. Also be sure to log out of one before logging into the other, especially if you have multiple pages running, because FC does not seem to know which account is which, and sometimes - for example - fills the summary page with data from two accounts. Effectively I do the same as you plan to do. One account for diversified, high interest rate, business loans managed for interest income and avoiding defaults. The other for property loans, managed for (net) promotional income and interest and churned more systematically. A different management required for each, and easier to do on two accounts - especially managing the sales. Also optimises the income tax liability if two people.

FC also caches (the only damn thing it does cache) the watchlist page, assuming you have IE caching turned on to 'automatic', which is where it gets confusing. A security hole, since 'back' on the browser will get you there even after you logged out (although seeing what's on my watchlist is not really a big deal).
Yes, multiple accounts from one bank a/c work fine, whether different people or not. I suspect they might get antsy if you try to introduce yourself for the bonus, but apart from that not an issue.

Many thanks for mentioning the bonus, GSV. To claim a bonus for opening a second account which belongs to you is against the T&Cs of the offer and fraudulent IMO. When I suggested a distinctive name for another account it was certainly not to pretend to be someone else to FC. Joe A. Bloggs and Joe Aloysius Bloggs would be fine - and I cannot remember if the account name you are signed in as has to be the same as your registered personal name. (Exits swiftly)
