Another £50 in October draw (I guess every little helps).
I see that both the £1m winning bonds were purchased this year. That'll get the conspiracy theories going again.
Results not available yet on my app??

They're available in mine "Premium Bond Checker". 2 * £25 in Oct.

£75 for me in October. Better than a kick in the proverbials. But not quite enough to get the roof repaired properly?

None for me (on £50,000) poo... 1/2 won 3x25 on a similar stake... But what do you do to keep your hard earned savings safe ?

Premium bonds don't really stack up now, what is it 1% with average luck and probably zero probability of the government making them more generous. You can get 1.4% and 1.75% for 1 year and 2 year FSCS fixed rate savings.
And interest rates are only going one way. I'm not always right but I'm seldom wrong!
EDIT: just to prove I'm average my return over the last 12 months has been 1.05%!

tax free. If you are in the additional rate band with 45% tax rate, that makes a material and comparative difference. Edit: or of course if you in the dreaded 62% effective income tax rate band, makes a bigger difference still.

£100 this month on the full £50K holding, which was in the nick of time and nudged me over 1% Return YTD, so Premium Bonds live to fight another day. Or, in this case, another month. (Yes, yes, I'm V aware that current inflation is "deducting" >3% pa, (and realistically a LOT more than that), but we all fantasise about winning The Big One don't we ............ )

A letter arrived from NSI this morning, that I've not seen before:- "We're pleased to tell you that Bond number # registered in your name has won a prize of £25 in the draw. We've reallocated this prize because the original winner wasn't eligible to receive it". Which is odd. Still, puts me onto £100 for October {shrug}. EDIT: And no, agent69, it still won't pay for the roof .

I believe the most common cause of that is when the NS&I discover that the bondholder who originally won has been dead for more than a year before the draw. Probably the executor didn't know they had bonds, and only found out when a prize notification came in. They write back to cash the bonds in, with a death certificate, so NS&I reclaim and reallocate. Enjoy your dead man's shoes... www.nsandi.com/files/published_files/asset/pdf/premium-bonds-brochure.pdfTerms and Conditions 13. After a Bond has qualified for its first draw it will be eligible for each subsequent draw, unless: ... (b) the registered holder has died more than a year before the month for which the draw is held.

Now you know why you have received it, is a little incy wincy part of you thinking you would have preferred to not have been the recipient of such a gift from the grave ? Feel a slight chill running down your spine ? Still, Halloween isn't for another 2 days I guess...
