Just looking at the list of big winners for January, the list appears to be a lot longer than normal (reflecting the increase in large peizes). My bond number not among them (as usual).

January's aren't due for another 2 days. I would have thoght that the process was automated and didn't need 'Bank Holidays' . Just another excuse to hold on to our money, as in payment of dividends due at the end of December .

I've never looked at that list before. I see that someone who has won £25k had a bond holding for the total sum of £100. That is one extremely lucky person.

That's Decembers numbers according to the link so hopefully your bonds are still in with a chance in a couple of days

And somebody won £10k off a £50 holding. I always like to think it's some little old dear, struggling with their bills. You can sort the list by Holding and you can sort it by Area, as a quick check to see if you are amongst them.

So I've still got a chance of a big win for January.

Does anyone know why they can release the high values a day earlier than the full sets. Always seems a bit odd as if they have the main winners numbers then surely they have them all. My guess is that they run checks on winning numbers and prioritise the highest value winners, so the batch checks for them are completed a day earlier than the mass of low value winners.
