* Oh boy, that could open a can of worms... Premium bond prizes for £1k+ are published on the first working day of the month, but the prize checker app isn't updated until the day after.

I did actually read somewhere many months ago that if you win the million, you get a visit before the end of the previous month so the million pound prizes at least, are drawn before the end of the previous month.

Nothing this month. At first I thought it might have been devine retribution for criticizing other peoples posts, but then I realised that I also got a big fat zero last October (I assume it couldn't be a glitch in the system?).
Still, I get 2 state pension payments this month, so I guess it all levels itself out.
