So picked up again for Mrs Aju after zero in January.
Mrs Aju £500 ( 4*£100, 2*£25 & £50) on full investment Me nowt on just over £10k
I'm thinking of adding my contribution back into Mrs Aju's Virgin ISA in April if rates don't dive. May also consider moving to one of our ISA Fixes as their rates are not too bad for the tax free returns albeit locked for 12 months. Mind you they may have dropped in April!

Changes in the size of the prize pot have minimal effect compared to changes in your luck. The chance of winning something, anything, remains at 1 in 21,000.
I had one win this month with my first ever £500!
Time for the wine, women and song and if there's anything left over...

For those looking to withdraw money from Premium Bonds, I'm sharing a tip from Reddit that suggests a way to get access to your cash a bit faster. The trick involves setting up Direct Saver account with NS&I (minimum £1), which only takes a couple of minutes. Normally transfers from your Premium Bond account to your bank are frustratingly slow as they go via BACS. But PB to Direct Saver transfers are done as Faster Payments, so the withdrawal is almost immediate. You can then transfer from the Direct Saver to your bank account (again, via Faster Payments). It's not an arduous workaround, as you get presented with the Direct Saver option from the withdrawals window. Effectively it shaves a couple of days off transfer times. I imagine the same trick works with winnings, but if you have set up to automatically withdraw, you'd need to change your nominated account to your Direct Saver. Apologies if this is teaching egg-sucking to many of you, but I'd never realised this workaround. I've set mine up just in case I ever need the money quickly.

Agreed, it takes a couple of hours to credit Direct Saver via FPS, and transfer from Direct Saver to any NS&I product is instant. Withdrawal via Direct Saver is next day for any amount not over £50k
