Just £200 for me this month (£100 + 2 × £50). I beat you by £50.
Still, £200 a month must be at least 4.8% return And I beat you by £25. Which doesn't happen very often so please allow me my minor note of triumph .

So after a long run since October 2022 Mrs Aju got zilch this month. and I got nothing too but after adding 10k in October i did get a £50 win last month.
We may soon be able to add further amounts into my PB when Mrs Aju's fixed ISA finishes at the end of Jan. Not sure what Virgin might do with her account at that point so will decide then on where we move to if at all.
Edit: Mrs Aju got £3600 for the 2023 period which in simple terms is just over 7%, I think. Mind you a good load of that, just under 50% of the year total, was received in August alone.

PBs and probate type question. I know there has been some discussion on here before. 1. If NS&I are informed of passing, and you are not yet ready to cash in and put into a probate account, do they keep them entered into the monthly draw ? i.e. do they stay as effective PBs until you request them to be cashed in and passed to probate account ? MiL passed 9 months ago and i can confirm that PB holdings can be left and entered in draws for 12 months.
Winnings are held by NSI. Pre-probate not accessible. Once probate is granted winnings are sent to the executor(s) address as cheques/warrants monthly. Can't be sent to the executors bank account for reasons I can't remember.
At the end of 12 months the bond value will be transferred to Executor account. This was set up when informing NSI of passing.
The 12th month draw after passing was this month and the full bond value was received in the executor's account today. Pretty efficient. The £100 winnings for this draw will be posted as cheques as before.

They have recently contacted me to inform me that they need to reverse some bond purchases - reinvestment of winnings - as they result from winnings post date of death. I have a form from them which would allow them to stay invested, but my reading of it suggests they want to see grant of probate at the same time as returning the form. Which is perhaps a bit odd, and may be bad wording or me misinterpreting. I'm actually assuming that they will keep them invested (but not reinvest winnings) until such time as I respond anyway (up to the 12 month limit). I may in fact in due course be asking them to use a (good) portion to make a direct settlement payment to HMRC. But I'm not sure how fast their wheels turn and I want speed of settlement as well.
