Vandana Shiva: We Must Fight Back Against the 1 Percent to Stop the Sixth Mass Extinction

This is well worth watching. It even has some optimism. Though I think it's most impressive for giving some context to how the world is really run.

However, I do agree that you may feel that you have wasted your time. Personally, I find it interesting how the way people are exploited has simply become more sophisticated. It says a lot about humanity. But that's just me. Many people would simply rather not know.

A few minutes of my life I won't get back watching this rubbish. Sorry! Not everyone is going to relate to everything. But just because you don't doesn't make it rubbish. However, I do agree that you may feel that you have wasted your time. Personally, I find it interesting how the way people are exploited has simply become more sophisticated. It says a lot about humanity. But that's just me. Many people would simply rather not know. Not that I'm not interested, I'm interested in almost anything. The first video promised it was going to tell me something very important and then wondered off into how governments since the Romans have distracted people with games sports etc, yes I know people like to be entertained particularly if they are oppressed. Fast forwarded a few times to try to find out what they were going to tell me, couldn't find anything, couldn't be bothered to watch the whole thing for whatever nugget might be cunningly hidden. Could they not just tell me! Second video glaciers are melting, I know that. Monsanto BM cotton in India looking into it a little bit it seems to be a very one sided narrative, ie, 1. No one has to grow BM cotton they can grow ordinary cotton, but they grow BM because it increases harvests. 2. In fact India probably grew too much there are meant to be buffer zones of normal cotton to prevent resistance in crops. 3. India now produce their own BM cotton seed so shouldn't need to buy from Monsanto. 4. Some reports say suicide rates of cotton growers have gone down (not up) because they have better crops now and are more financially secure. 5. Growing BM cotton reduces spraying with insecticides which improves water supplies (which get poisoned with insecticides) and improves the health of the people. It also allows increases in the population of predators of the other insects that attack the plants. I like to be told both sides of an argument. I know it's all propaganda and false apart from what's in the videos.
