Just logged into my NatWest account and got offered Malwarebytes Premium free for two years. I'm unsure if the offer is for all NatWest customers - I'm a NatWest Premier account-holder, mainly on the strength of lots of money going in and out of my account in 2006-07 when my parents' estates had been sorted out. (I wouldn't qualify nowadays.)
I have Windows Defender, and I have an idea that one shouldn't run that AND Malwarebytes Premium together - though the first hit from a quick Google suggests one can, the second says one shouldn't ...
I've been using Malwarebytes Free for years for regular scans (I realise that it's only a dis-infector) and in 20 years of PC use have never had any security problems that I haven't been able to sort out myself. Malwarebytes Premium has several useful-looking features that Defender does not, but I'm not sure that I could be bothered to use them.

Why not use it if it's free? I have premium historically, I had malwarebytes when it was free and carried on with it (not quite sure how but I now have the full version free). A good alternative or additive to other things and sometimes finds different problems.

about Malwarebytes Premium and Windows Defender - and it's a recent one. (Too often when I Google for advice on matters like this, I end up dated advice.)
