I have noticed something similar. It happened when I had put parts in the same loan up for sale on different days. As long as there was at least one part that had not yet sold, and at least one part that was no longer for sale, then all the parts appeared as live in the loan parts summary. However, the sell individually tab would not display any parts in that loan. This has been happening for a week+ now. If you list more than 2 loan parts, only 2-3 generally make it to the public listing. The loan parts show for sale in your loan parts tab, but other can't see them and thus can't buy them. I've complained to FC who say that their IT guys are looking into it and I have been given 2 holding email (they don't seem to think it is to an important a priority). It is quite concerning things like this happen - it makes you wonder what else they can screw up. Maybe if a few more of use complain they will give the issue higher priority and fix the issue - put your whining caps on now.....

I've just checked mine. I have a number of single loan parts that have been on sale for about a week and they show as 'for sale' in the on sale list and 'live' in the loan parts list.
I cancelled the sale of one then put it back on sale. It immediately showed up as 'for sale' in both lists. I'll keep an eye on it and see if it drops back to live again.

John Having sorted mine yesterday I found another one today so they do drop out. Maybe to do with repayments - perhaps they don't get re-put up for sale when repayment made (sometimes).

Yes, when 'in processing' for monthly repayments the parts are de-listed from sale in case of a problem. However the repayment date wasn't relevant for these parts.

One that was for sale yesterday had a repayment date of 6th July. This morning after repayment it was back to being 'live' rather than for sale though was still in my 'For Sale' list. Have de-listed and re-listed.

Unfortunately this problem seems to be happening again (was it ever fixed?)
Earlier I put on sale 10 loan parts, but they cannot be seen in the SM from another account. Same thing happening the other way round.
Anyone else confirm similar?

I've currently given up adding multiple parts to the SM with a single "Sell" click. When I want to list 5 parts, I'm adding them individually with 5 separate "Sell" clicks. So far, that seems to ensure that they all appear on the SM (viewed via my other account). Whether they then stay visible over time is not something I've attempted to check.

I don't think the multiple parts is an issue. Seems to me to be when repayments are made and the parts are not for sale during the process. Sometimes they don't come back to the 'for sale' list. Found one just now that had a repayment last night/this morning and had dropped out.

There may be 2 (or more!!) different problems but I've found many times recently that, when I click to "Sell" 5 or 10 parts at once, not all of them become visible to other SM users. Frankly it's quicker for me to click "Sell" 5 times than to check if they've all been listed at once, find they haven't, de-list them and try over again.

I sold about three times the usual number of loan parts on the SM today. Odd. Has the Fat Controller finally got the secondary knobs balanced correctly? Or perhaps merely stopped fiddling with 'em?

I wonder if anyone has any update on this (from FC or recent experience).
I started putting up all my loan parts individually on the basis of this thread and subjectively felt I was getting more sales. It was slightly laborious and I've started listing them in batches again and sales have dried up. However, these swings can be par for the course for FC...

I list in batches of 100, typically around midnight, and the parts =usually= seem to sell OK. If you have another account, you could try looking at the loans in question to see if you can ID the parts you supposedly listed (usually you can find some obscure markup like 2.8%, which there are no parts at, so if you list one there you can ID it).

I always list my parts the same way, in batches of 25 or thereabouts, and sales vary from barely a trickle to flying off the shelves with no rhyme or reason. So if there is any signal it'll be lost in the noise.

Haven't had any dropping out at repayment day for a few weeks so maybe they've fixed it.
