Best guess on processing time for an RYI request made on 8 April? Never? Asking for a friend...

Best guess on processing time for an RYI request made on 8 April? Never? Asking for a friend... For Access, using recent releases as a guide, at least into 2021. However, things can change quite quickly eg a capital haircut could make it worse. The economy recovering would improve the timing.

Told me mine was near the top of the queue 2 months ago, queued on the 12th March, had part of it ,It will be a long wait. Also I see there is now an edit window for money in the release queue so you can adjust your release amount.Still not fixed my 5 year release not showing as queued even though they assured me it was still in the system

Has anybody tried using the new 'edit request' button next to your RYI on the dashboard? Is it possible to increase the size of your request? I suspect not as RS probably want everyone to reduce their request instead, but I'm wary of trying it out through fear of accidentally cancelling my request altogether.

Once corrected, it should show in the queue. This is a known issue so a complaint should resolve it mailto:complaints@ratesetter.com I have emailed twice and reply Thank you for your email. I can confirm that we are aware that your release IDs 399731 (ISA) and 400848 (Everyday) are not showing as pending on your account online. This has been raised with the relevant team and these releases will be processed in accordance with when you original made the requests. This will continue to be monitored internally and while you may not see these as pending on your online account we advise that you do not make any subsequent releases to ensure the original requests are processed correctly.

I would raise it as a complaint rather than just emailing.

I’ve just noticed a new ‘function’ on RS – will they ever stop fiddling? It’s the [edit request] function for your RYI as shown on this screen-shot (amounts redacted) I am somewhat reluctant to click on it just in case, although I doubt there would be an immediate action without confirmation but you never know. Has anyone tried it and knows what it does?
In Edit: The amounts that I redacted now mirror my current holding amount rather than my RYI request as the 'all funds' have reduced with repayments. I presume this will now update daily.

I will have a tinker with it tomorrow. I have nothing to lose, best those in the queue just look at it in wonder.

No need to worry, there is a "back" button. You do keep your pace in the queue according to the text provided, i.e. " Your edited request will retain the same position in the queue. Changes you make cannot be undone.". It doesn't say whether you are able to increase the amount requested. Mine are already at "all funds, so couldn't test.

Yep, thanks Ace, just braved it and had a look, back button utilised more than once. Perhaps not surprisingly you can decrease the amount but not increase it. Your queue position will be maintained you are informed, but warned "Changes you make cannot be undone." so careful there, no ringing them up saying you made an unintentional click
