Someone (mikeb maybe?) Was saying they sold two identical parts at their same time and got two different sale prices .. Did anyone ever get an explanation / confirmation? Just curious .. Have not seen this one myself yet, but then I didn't look for it. Flakey math seems to be an FC speciality.
I would go find the thread but 'search' won't talk to me ..

That was me. I did not report it to FC, too trivial a sum. I have not checked to see if it was corrected. It was a few days after FC sold one of my loan parts twice - that was corrected silently.

Someone (mikeb maybe?) ... Oy, I resemble that remark! I haven't yet had the pleasure of selling two identical loan parts and getting different results. I shall reserve space in my collection ... Selling them at par and being threatened with a false discount, yes. Spurious discounts of the 80% of whole value of the loan part, yes.

And responses from FC? Or was the error too small for you to report it too?? Or are you awaiting the tech team's deliberations, while they investigate the new math??? 8>.

The sell-at-par but show-a-discount was a "display error". When they did sell, there was no discount (correct), although it makes a nonsense of the summary screen and the meaningless "I agree to the terms and conditions" popup. I'm agreeing to something that FC acknowledge is wrong. What happens if it actually DOES apply a discount, surely the defense from FC is "Well, it said it would ..."
On the second one, no response, didn't report it as the website totally crashed shortly after. Aborted the sale and tried again when it came back up.

Their whole rate display in the new sell parts pages is screwed up, in that everything truncates instead of rounds. Maybe the financial types said 'you better not show 8.0% when the actual value is 7.99827%", but personally I'd like to see the nearest number .. selling 8% parts at par and getting 7.9% displayed is irksome. Seeing someone selling at 12.3% when they are really selling at 12.39998% is equally irksome.

Slightly irked here too.
It's either 8% or 7.9%, it can't be both.
