Just have a demand for a TIN from WA. A lot of people do not have them and also a NI number shoulkd be enough. What on earth are they up to?

They need your NI number for UK residents. I've just entered mine.

I invest with over a dozen financial institutions and I have never been asked for my NI number before. They have sent me a 3rd reminder. I have told them that as I no longer use the platform and do not have an ISA I can see no reason why they are asking for my NI number. I know of no requirement for this and no other platforms ask for it, unless you open an ISA.

Bit of a pain as i am also running down but to be fair my wife thinks HL asked when she transferred(outside an ISA) last year.But checking Gov.uk it says non ISA financial providers who sell shares,bonds & derivatives can ask and there is a link to check if a company is authorised (WA seem to be)
