I haven't figured out which add it is, but something is causing a lot of "BT competition well done you've won you're our most valuable customer ever" type  to appear multiple times today. Anybody else? |

btw it was some dodgy advert. Somebody else reported it to Proboards they sorted it.

As of 11.00 today I keep getting an annoying Virgin media survey and competition pop up and this is only happening on this site.Any one the same and this is using either Edge or Chrome

Not for me, but that's possibly because I mostly only use Chrome for this site and have uBlock Origin installed and configured as outlined here: " Horrible advert" Less chance of eradicating it, but maybe worth mentioning anyway; have you withheld 'consent' wrt some cookie-type settings? Scroll to the very bottom of the page and you should see a line of links, starting 'Terms of Service'. The last one should be 'Consent'. Click on it, then Options > Reject All > Save & Exit. Note, the 'Consent' link only seems to appear when connected with IP addresses that ProBoards deem to be within the EU. So if you are using a VPN or similar, you may not see it. |

Yes, PB support have blocked a few ad's in the last few hours.
They've also had reports of issues with Vodafone and Sky (and BT!) ads it seems. I'll add Virgin to the mix.
Lets hope that sorts it.

I one a few weeks ago on Chrome. I think perhaps it was smart enough to detect which ISP you used lending it some credibility.

It's a scam / phishing.
