Is there a tax statement on the site somewhere? I know this was promised years ago, but still can't find one. Or has a tax statement been sent, I haven't seen one but might have missed it.

I don't remember getting one. In other news my investment seems to be doing ok (the most important thing I suppose) but I now have 23 pages of loans to page through to see the latest ones. A bit ridiculous.

A bit ridiculous. I just have pages and pages of dead ones that never get written off! All of them at least two years late now. A very occasional payment of a few quid, which comes as a surprise and a reminder to log in once in a while. I keep hoping they will write the rest off so I can forget about MP. Glad to hear the latest incarnation is doing OK, but not tempted.

Only a comparatively small loss, relative to the disaster platforms (might even break even in another x years). How much profit are you making now?

Still rubbish tax statement many years overdue loans (theoretically maximum three month duration loans!) still not written off for tax purposes, ridiculous. Do TMP really think these loans will pay back? And even if they might in the indefinite future, why not allow lenders to write them off against tax? And repay the benefit if in the very unlikely scenario they do pay back? Gets more irritating every year, my newest (maximum three month loan) was early 2018! Write them off!

But with regard to the tax write off. In a similar position with other platforms for tax returns I've just 'written them off' on my own spreadsheet, if necessary with some supporting evidence/words in case it gets queried. Yes there is a bit more reconciliation work to do later. I'm sure you know this and probably already do.

Yes there is a bit more reconciliation work to do later. I'm sure you know this and probably already do. I got into a 'slight discussion' before with HMRC about doing my own write offs, it got sorted out after a few letters (and they were eventually OK with what I had done) but a bit of a hassle so I'm a bit wary of doing that too much now. I do keep spreadsheets and reconcile every year so I'm prepared for any other queries. I have plenty of declared losses to write off this year anyway from other platforms! But would just like TMP to write the rest off so I can forget about them (except for unlikely possible recoveries). Rant over until next year.

My guess is the platform virtually runs itself with any customer issues dealt with by a third party call center (no doubt offshore). To write off a loan would require manual intervention or automatic criteria which hasn't been set. As I say I'm just reading between the lines of what we already know so essentially guessing.
Biggest problem for me remains the website which forces me to scroll through dozens and dozens of pages of loans. Second biggest is of course transparency which those who know me know I bleat on about this for most platforms.
Great to see I'm not the only person here who takes some interest in this platform!

I'm sure I found a tax statement download a few weeks/months ago, but now can't find it, where is it? Or has it gone.
