Very concerned that I have just clicked once on the bid button and the system made 3 bids. Has anyone seen this before?

Nope, usually it's the other way, hit it 3 times for one bid. If you want them removed, FC support staff can probably do it - ReBS staff can/did when their website error caused similar issue for me a few days ago, although that was easier to prove). Whether they will I don't know.

Finally dug into this problem a bit more
1) The bids were not cancelled they just got auctioned out 2) FC reject that their system will multiple bid if you click once. So down to me then.
I've rejected their opinion (never had this problem in the past {no garage of books from Amazon hidden away}) but I guess nothing is going to happen. If anyone else gets this let me know

Aargh, had a double bid from one click.
I conclude either it is me (no one else seems to be complaining) my software or my hardware.
FC being positive, will have a look to see if they have a fault (good guys), while I'm halving my individual bids and taking care, if that doesn't work I'll have to use a different browser to see if that is at fault.

I have a mouse on one PC here which often double-clicks when it should not, but I would not expect the FC javascript to be able to respond to two clicks that fast .. what browser / hardware are you using? Must say this is a very uncommon complaint, compared to the 'I can't get a bid in for love nor money'.

You're right, whenever I click "Bid" I get precisely one bid -- can't do more because the bid button gets stuck in. I have to refresh the page to get it back, and see that the bid occurred. No "Your bid was successful" popup or anything.
Now in the old days, you could get focus on the bid button, hit Enter then quickly ESC to stop the page reloading, and repeat that very quickly to bang bids in at speed. Multiple per second, if you go quick enough!

I have seen three bids for one click too, but it was sometime ago and FC corrected the account at my request.
My system at the time was XP and Mozilla, IIRC.
