Oh lord, the weird queue position catch-up thing is back. Edit: Also, I actually moved forward 8 places, but my brain clearly wasn't fully engaged first thing this morning. Yep, it's back. At around 9000 QIF I also moved only 4 places today. I was obviously joking when I said I wondered if my emails had triggered this; but if this is some sort of bug, it's possible that me telling them I hadn't moved forward even one place in two weeks triggered them to notice something was up and sort it out (again). God I can't wait to be done with this queue so my brain just stops thinking about all this haha

31/8 6021 3/9 6016 4/9 6015 5/9 6010 6/9 6006All about 9am. Make of that what you will! Access. My other one is the same, just 5 behind. Wow i'm impressed you can predict that far ahead ... If it wasn't a joke then my starting queue position is much higher than yours (13535 on friday) but daily changes run as follows 31/7 0 1/8 1 2/8 8 3/8 3 4/8 8 5/8 18 6/8 5
Thing is that at these high numbers its probably more about cancellations than actual RYI movement numbers relative to the front.

I would, but it sort of defeats the point of telling people not to post in there if I just make another post... Besides, quoting their post in another thread gives them a notification of that post in another thread, so shouldn't be too hard to follow. [Also, this post you've quoted is from a week ago...!] Yeah sorry, I just noticed it when I eventually found the original post I added an edit into my post. As I said above numpties like me. I blame Mrs Aju she keeps coming round to my desk and making sure I'm doing something useful. To be fair to the original poster was quoting £160 sold but I noticed they didn't have anything in the investment tables anyway. Oh well thanks anyway. Did you confess or lie aju Time for a shopping trip methinks.

Did you confess or lie aju Time for a shopping trip methinks. No of course not, a gentleman and a scholar never lies. We did shopping yesterday took longer online than it would in a shop too!. Mind you she keeps putting post it notes on my desk all kinds of thngs from shops I've never heard of but I just have to log it in our banking spreadsheets so not too bad. To be fair she's not very happy with her money, its always her money not ours, in such dubious practices as investing - I tell her we are doing ok still, again not a lie, and shes more comfortable. To be fair we have saved and awful lot with the lock downs and the holidays to far flung places all being cancelled - we have fared well though its nice having time on our hands we can engage with the likes BA, EJ etc etc. for refunds...

But who knows, they might not be that different by September! I see from the main QIF tables that you moved 21 places last week, myself and Mrs Aju both moved 31 places so that tells me that at least 10 of my places were definitely cancellations and not movements. So looking at someone at the front like "nebula" who moved zero places tells me that all our movements last week were in fact cancellations. Assuming nebula's figures are correct. Edit: there are a few at the front that moved nowhere last week and as I write I remember a discussion earlier that suggested there was no real movement last week, can;t remember who though.

Why would anyone cancel? What is to be gained? (These are genuine questions, not rhetorical)

Would a lender in QAA have to cancel in order to move over to 30 and/or 90DAA for the higher interest rate? Same for 30- to 90DAA. (Not saying that's a good thing to do, just suggesting it as a source of cancellations.) Think you're a little lost, iRobot lol - yeah! I wouldn't never have had a career as a juggler! Deleted post to avoid confusion (not least my own ).

(These are genuine questions, not rhetorical) Beats me, mind you the time its going to take Access to sell out for ourselves means that we effectively haven't cancelled and haven't sold either. We are getting the monthly returns and have re-invest effectively turned off by setting very high rates (Not a guarantee though but we catch it before it stays very long on the market) I guess the gain might be considered to be the fees in the non access cases but in our case we plumped for the highest rates we could get and it does mitigate the fees and still make it worthwhile and still gives way better return than one can get elsewhere. I think in our case the natural closure will be how we get access returned back as we are so far back.

We discussed this a little here, if you're interested: p2pindependentforum.com/post/395503/thread(*'selfish', not in a pejorative sense)

Why would anyone cancel? What is to be gained? (These are genuine questions, not rhetorical) some will have 1 year contracts that will sell out naturally and therefore not cost 0.3% exit fee. it would be worth cancelling that kind of release. also some will have solid rates still and even with the 50% cut will take 4% +, which if you have the courage makes it a worthy punt.

Well according to RS millions have been cancelled. Those doing so must have had a reason, although the cancel button is certainly large and prominent to hit by accident. Borrowing from iRobot 's (unintentional) analogy with Assetz, I don't suppose it's possible to switch from Access into Plus or Max?
