It's Boxing Day and another amazing QIF drop of 1100 overnight - again well done RS for this excellent progress. Nice to get some good news.

Only a few of us left now. Personally I would be happy for star dust to take a well earned retirement from maintaining this table.

It's interesting as I thought the dailies were fired off manually perhaps the new bosses deemed it a priority to clear as much loans as possible so their own processes can takeover and start making money. Makes mockery of my pre-filled spreadsheet for the holidays as I have to keep changing it. At the current rates i'll be all but gone by the end of the year - I say all but as there are still some <£10 stuff lurking that will keep it open for quite a while. I expect that the new management will want to clear everything off their books at some point though!.

I’m banking on even littleoldlady’s charge getting out with the sale of the property loan book wind (there’s still £34m on @3% this morning), if not when Table 4 concludes then fairly soon after. As that means most/all of the original participants will be RYI’d, I wasn’t planning to do a Table 5. Anyone who want’s to is free to start one of their own of course. I’ll add you to the RYI table rrrupert, and will keep updating that as and when people report they are out. aju RS reported here that they were going to speed up (i.e. automate) the process around the time they sold the loan book. From what I’ve observed it seems to run about 12/14 hours a day every day if there are no payment runs, and pauses whilst repayment runs are made. And finally, a Merry Christmas (or what’s left of it) to all; and a better, brighter, healthier 2021.

Suggesting pending RYIs should begin processing much before their QIF reaches 0.

Suggesting pending RYIs should begin processing much before their QIF reaches 0. An RYI that this morning had position around 2000 has already been processed in full - whilst the stalled RYI from the 23rd is still in Processing having advanced about 100. Only to underline the queue is moving fast and a number of stalled RYIs at front of queue inflating the QIF numbers.

Lovely Christmas present from RS when I woke up this morning.
404744 (Access) paid in full before 6am today. So happily no more Friday QIF figures to submit.
Thanks to star dust for setting this up and everyone involved in submitting data and commenting, it's made life so much easier and less stressful than doing this sort of thing in isolation.
Hope you're out soon littleoldlady and thanks for your input to this platform which I've enjoyed reading.
Happy New Year and best wishes to everyone.............

so after all that. all out. table closed. all the panic and ranting and raving and everyone in the table has their money back. there is much work to do but the situation looks decent.
i hope people learn more about what they invest in, the concequences of a down turn and to only invest what you can afford. even though there is an old debate - is ratesetter savings or investment it is still down to the investor/saver to act. perform due dilligence and if you don't trust something or fully understand it - don't do it and then join a forum to blame the company (even though it has many faults). also the fools who placed money they needed for a house purchase - well you are lucky this time.
Make 2021 worth it and don't think you a monetary magician - be careful. you were lucky this time....
