RS will end p2p by the year end according to Metro. Zopa already funds all its loans initially from its bank. FC totally discredited by its credit policy in 2017 2018, and not taking on new lenders.
Hmm, I reckon Assetz may be the last man standing in the p2p space apart from The large rump of small and niche players.
Good luck Assetz, but can you turn a profit when Z never really managed it after 15 years?

The small business lending market has to all intents and purposes been nationalised.

They certainly think so - Assetz Capital has made a pitch for RateSetter’s retail investors, Stuart Law telling them that they “have a home with us”. www.p2pfinancenews.co.uk/2020/08/03/assetz-offers-home-for-ratesetter-lenders/Good luck to Stuart, but is he wise to invite RS investors to investigate AC while there is still no liquidity there?

Good luck to Stuart, but is he wise to invite RS investors to investigate AC while there is still no liquidity there? Peraps he's hoping that they'll provide extra liquidity? However, if they've "escaped" from RS, what's the chances of them "jumping in" without looking first? Brian

However, if they've "escaped" from RS, what's the chances of them "jumping in" without looking first Brian There are other platforms which appear to be sailing through this year ok (time will tell if this is true or a front ), but assets early steps in reducing rates, taking a fee ect allough unpopular at the time, may have secured the platform and stopped it going bust. Whilst at the same time ratesetter was paying out as per usual ect, (basically the opposite to assets actions ) and now what's left may be unappealing to retail. So maybe assets is seen as appealing as it may be seen as proactive and been through the worst ect. Where would u rather put ur shilling ?? rate or assets or ??
