I see Assetz have taken action to clear their Access account RYI backlog by allowing lenders to discount their Access accounts in order to sell to other lenders. Why can't RS do the same thing? From Assetz.....
We’re delighted to announce that the Access Account Marketplace is now live and ready to use.
To recap, the Access Account Marketplace is a new way for our platform to work within these difficult market conditions, and to try to help speed up current withdrawal requests for those who wish to offer a discount.
The marketplace allows you to invest into any of our range of Access Accounts and automatically take advantage of any discounts that may have been applied by a lender looking to withdraw their funds more quickly than normal.

I think the key difference is that AC are (probably) hoping to continue as a retail P2P platform and are therefore doing whatever they can to keep at least some lenders happy. Whereas RS aren't, so why should they go to all the trouble?

Whereas RS aren't, so why should they go to all the trouble? agree. from a dev perspective it would simply be money wasted and not a viable use of funds given they have no intent to extend lending via retail

shanghaiscouse AC is doing all it can to survive in its current form. RS's chickens came home to roost and forced a sale for chump change. Engineering an online market to give locked-in lenders an exit route is hardly going to be anywhere on RS' priority list.
Don't get me wrong, I wish it was! I was a bit sceptical at first but I've used the AC market and the option of being able to get your money out is invaluable.
