As the majority of you no doubt know, the forum was established and is maintained through very generous financial donations and the time and effort of volunteers. Unfortunately, after a seven year run we need further financial donations if we are to remain on Pro-Boards as “p2pindependentforum.com”. The amount we require is £25 per annum to be able to continue as we are currently established and set-up. If anyone feels that they can assist by making a donation or contributing can you please PM star dust who is dealing with this issue. In hope and with thanks, P2PIF Admin

No, £25 in total for one year. This is just for one element of our overall costs, others have already been paid for through generous contributions from forum members. Having said that as everything is run by unpaid volunteers, our total costs are not that huge.

I’d like to thank all those ‘ordinary’ forum members who stepped up to proffer their support of the P2PIF. We got considerably more offers than we needed, and I’m very pleased to report the good news that we have now secured the position of the P2PIF for the next five years.
Many thanks to those forum members who dipped into their pockets on this occasion to shore up the P2PIF. I and the rest of the volunteer Mods and Admin appreciate your generous contributions, as do I hope all the other many viewers, lurkers, posters, and platforms who form part of this resource.

Totally missed this thread (no longer reading all the posts in the interests of sanity. Same in the 'real World' no longer watching the news) I would certainly rate the platform as worth a bit of support and would add my thanks to those who have contributed. Probably a good time to thank the Mods and admin as well, you do have to read it all. Its a thankless task a lot of the time I imagine and you should be told occasionally that it is appreciated by many off us. No idea what the next five years will bring for us, but fairly sure the forum will prove invaluable at the key moments in P2P (and other areas as well).
