I commented on some threads on these forums and am now subscribed to them. However, those threads have countless posts every day and the update notifications have been flooding my inbox for months.
Unlike every other forum provider I've come across, I've never been able to find where to unsubscribe from specific threads. Looked everywhere. How may I do so please?
I can see there is an "unsubscribe here" option in the updated thread email, but that is a global unsubscribe.
Thanks very much.

I think that, other than the general notifications settings in your profile, you can only do so at a board level.
To do so at the board level: go to a board, click the Action dropdown, select Notification Options, and choose what notifications you want for that board.

Are the threads bookmarked? I think that generates update notifications. Go to the thread, click on actions drop down in top right corner and remove bookmark

www.proboards.com/user-guide/notificationsDeselect the option "when a thread you have participated in is updated". Unsure if it's exactly what you're after, but I think that's where you switch on/off thread notification emails.

Like I stated, I am looking to unsubscribe from certain threads (which have 50+ updates a month) not global unsubscribe from all threads I've participated in. It seems like this is the only forum provider I've ever used that doesn't allow one to unsubscribe from certain threads.

Not sure if it is what you seek, but Activating the participated box in the top right corner when a new message occurs, then tick the box next to the offending thread - then in action there is only one option choice which is Mark as Read - hover over this and you get a drop down menu then select forever. This cured Coronavirus in my case, well reading about it anyway, Plan B is delete your posts from the thread.

I've tried that and hopefully the barrage of notifications emails every day will cease. Glad you've found a cure for the Coronavirus... thread!
