I have just tried to log in on my PC and have the message You have been banned from this forum. I have not posted in an age and have accessed on my phone.
Can someone help please?
EDIT
I am overseas and was using a VPN when I got the message. When I closed the VPN allowed in.

They really should amend that rather terse message to remind people that it could also be the VPN causing it (in fact probably far more likely in most cases!) dan1 that's probably a proboards thing rather than you guys isn't it?

Unfortunately when I am travelling overseas I continually still get the you are banned from this forum ! I know it was raised in previous years, but really would have thought / hoped that something professional could be done to resolve this major problem. It is NOT just when using a VPN ! Or even if using mobile data or WiFi data. For me it random occurs, then when I nearby give up, like today I tried again and got access. Please can a solution be identified? If not I probably won’t be able to view any update as I will be banned again

Tagging Ton ⓉⓞⓃ, dan1, to make them aware. I've just had the "you've been banned" message twice in the space of 5 mins. Both times a page refresh resolved the issue. I'm in the uk and not using a VPN. |

Maybe we could have a moratorium on bans since I suspect most were put in place more than 5 years ago? That would solve the issue.

If not I probably won’t be able to view any update as I will be banned again Now had normal access for 2 days ie no banned notifications - for info same country, WiFi and mobile connection, great 😊
