I was a bit bored so just for a laugh really I finally relented and downloaded Zopa's app.
Some interesting not to mention inconsistent results regarding my credit score, loan eligibility, etc.
Only to be expected I guess, as I don't really fit the usual pigeoholing criteria.
Fortunately the chances of me ever needing a Zopa loan are remote and anyway, I blame Equifax
Has anyone else got any experience of said 'Borrowing Power' they'd be willing to share here?

I understand now, I asked why you didn't get the Zopa loan in another thread recently. Mrs Aju has less monthly income than myself so she never satisfies HSBC to get the rewards. I used to have similar issues with them before my pension increased to cover 1750 a month quite some time ago now so i got their rewards and am getting interest from one of their accounts at the moment. Its not quite the same though. We have quite a bit of funds available to us but we never seem to be able to get a Zopa loan either. I tried quite a while ago and my attempts never seem to go off my screen even though I failed 3 times. Perhaps they looked at my 6 figure lending in the investment side who knows. However, I think the real reason is that we don't actually have any negative credit line in the negative. We have cards that could use 20k or so credit if we wanted to but since I never use a card without paying it off almost immediately the CR agencies cannot see much in the way of credit use to be able to gauge if either of us are a good bet. (we use some cards to get cheap cash abroad and some cards for shopping etc that get points and the like - all in our favour so the credit companies hate the like of us.
