Both our providers (AJ Bell and Fidelity) needed paper based transfer requests. Still heard nothing. Hope our providers followed our instructions to email the requests as RateSetter requested. I only gave HSBC the email address !! Didnt provide a postal one. Just to reiterate from posting transfer form off to money in the new Cash ISA was 12 calendar days. So dont reckon either HSBC or RS were particularly slow.

I wanted to transfer cash from an HL s&s ISA to a cash ISA to wait for a more favourable equity entry point. The transfer took HL so long the cash ISA deal was over and there was no point in transferring. HL ISA transfer process is jackshit. This was pre pandemic! God knows what it’s like now.

I had an ISA transfer out of HL that took four and a half months! The receiving institution swore blind they'd sent the request several times, HL said they'd never received it, and nobody would just pick up the **** phone to sort it out. I can't prove it but I think its much more likely the fault was on the HL side...

I had conformation from my new provider on the 26th March saying they had forwarded my transfer request to RateSetter to move funds as soon as they were available, heard nothing since. Just to add, yesterday I had an e-mail from Ratesetter saying my transfer should be completed in 5 days, that amount has gone from my Ratesetter ISA account. My RS ISA account is to be split into three existing providers, I have heard nothing about the other two transfers yet. Steve Did you get a further email to say they had sent the money and/or has the money arrived yet? I'm trying to judge timescales as I've just had the '5 days' email. Thanks.

"We are processing your request and this should take no longer than 5 working days to complete. We will email you to confirm when the money has been sent to your new provider." on the 9th "Your request to transfer from RateSetter to ######## has now been completed and will be with your new provider in the next few days. on the 13th Money in Bank ISA on the 17th.
So 8 calendar days from 5 day letter.

Having e-mailed my new provider for the third of my transfers from RateSetter I have been told it could take some time due to the high demand. The other two didn't take too long, they did say that interest would be paid from my transfer request date, who pays that then?
