Anyone have a rough idea what the loan matching time is right now? Guessing that LP are awash with funds and seeking more borrowers, so things could lag?

I believe the matchin time right now is next day around mid-day. The site goes locked for a couple of minutes. Loanpad are paying interest on all cash held in the portfilio. ( that is invested in Classic or Premium)

Too early for me to do the equation yet but obviously if it is on all cash in the portfolio then the delay in matching wouldn't be an issue!

It is sounding a bit like you have not allocated the money to an account. If that is the case you will clearly not get interest. If this is the case, go to preferences and set an allocation.

To be clear, interest is paid on all funds allocated to either the Classic or Premium accounts (regardless of whether it's invested in loans). That's quite generous right now as there's over £4m of cash in these two accounts that is not invested in loans. Interest is not paid on funds in the Cash account.

I believe the matchin time right now is next day around mid-day. To clarify, it can be same day if you transfer in early enough - every transfer I've done before 9am has been ready to invest same day and several later than that have also been added to the account in time

Thanks for all the replies. All funds are indeed allocated in the Classic account, none left in cash, so perhaps that means I am receiving interest on all of that already. That is generous, and I am surprised that they can do that, but I am guessing that it keeps the money there for immediacy when loans about to come in. Anyway, all seems good and it's an impressive business model. My previous platform which had a similar(ish) set up was GrowthStreet, now defunct.
