I hope you are all well.
Great news! We’re thrilled to announce that Blend Network has been approved by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for Direct Authorisation.
The approval process required the FCA to conduct an extremely exhaustive and thorough due diligence on Blend Network and it required Blend Network to disclose extensive information. We worked extremely hard to achieve full FCA Direct Authorisation and this is an enormous success for us, especially considering that only a handful of platforms have been approved over the past couple of years – a lot more used to get approved each year prior to 2019.
This exciting news follows several other recent milestones. This demonstrates the trust and confidence our lenders continue to place on us as a result of our track-record and service.

'The approval process required the FCA to conduct an extremely exhaustive and thorough due diligence on Blend Network and it required Blend Network to disclose extensive information.' Can you elaborate on that at all? Its just they apparently carried out a similar process on Lendy, Funding Secure etc so interested to know if FCA have improved the quality of their processes since 2018

Smart Investors will actually now Due Dilligence you even more as you bask in "The Halo Effect"..
Still, you are to be congratulated with persevering and surviving what I am sure were many petty, pedantic, unnecessary and useless process requirements that they foisted on you.

Sadly, authorization means nothing because the FCA is not the authority on matters relating to financial conduct. If they lied to you, join the club. Sorry and best of luck.

Top of the duckduckgo search page. I was surprised I managed to read more than 2 lines, quite good. A few of his relatives were also into P2P by the sound of it.

You have to wonder if the FCA has any inkling whatsoever that its Brand has been rendered less than worthless?
I doubt it somehow, arrogance knows no bounds.
