Lendy Ltd and SSSHL (both in administration) have filed a Professional Negligence claim against law firm 'Clarke Willmott LLP' at the High Court it can be revealed.
Clarke Willmott LLP was one of the three law firms on "Lendy's Legal Panel" and is understood to have been involved in approving a number of loans on the platform.

If there was ever a way contrived to burn up fees / generate income, it surely has to be an Administrator taking a firm of Solicitors to the High Court. I'm starting to think last year's extension to May 2023 isn't going to be long enough.... KERRRRR-CHINGGGG!!!

Cynicism notwithstanding, anyone care to speculate why this one solicitors firm, and not the other two also on the Panel?

W T F . Senior plagiariser Michael Lloyd copies and pastes text from Court Room Mouse and passes it off 16-days-later as his exclusive, it can be revealed.
He even copied the typo I made misspelling Clark which is present in iRobots quote of the first post before I corrected it.

Not surprising, I still remember the conversation a long while back where it was pointed out most of the content was rehashed posts from the forum. Not sure what the legality of it is but to pass it off as their exclusive and not even mention your post is pretty pathetic.

We of course to have to mention this beauty, an article lifted from The Times (although credited as such) but with a rather unfortunate typo:
