I signed up to Seedrs when AC had their first share offer, but this year I've been buying a little on their SM and some on the PM/IPOs. I'm buying in at £100 odd as a notional limited for each, but expecting dilution and buying more later. I'm not really researching the proposals just using my personal experience and buying into what seems like reasonable proposals.
Is there any way I can get to see the flops that have raised money on Seedrs and folded. Or do i have to have invested in them for that privilege?
Should I signup to Crowdcube and similar? (hoped they would merge)
I'm wondering if investing after an enormous economic hiccup (covid) is really the best time. But a lot of talented people have had a year to think and play with ideas and may now want to launch into choppy waters.
Any other comments?
I'm relatively happy with the funds I have in FTSE and Europe etc. But my p2p portfolio is shrinking I want a little more risk, so I'm looking at this.

I'd avoid CrowdCube like the plague. There’s even more chancers and charlatans on there. Suggest you peruse ECF.Buzz for a suitably jaundiced view of Equity Crowd Funding.

I really prefer Seedrs over Crowdcube. Post funding communication by the startups is much better on Seedrs by my experience (though there are exceptions). I invested in 111 pitches since 2014, heavily overweighting pitches from fintech sector (78 percent of my funds allocated there) Status of these 111 according to Seedrs - 89 active - 12 winding up - 7 dissolved - 3 sold (that is the company was sold, not to be confused with my sale of shares in the secondary market)
My annual IRR is given as 24.5% (in GBP). As a foreign resident I can't make use of EIS/SEIS tax benefits. So for a UK resident yield could be higher with a similar portfolio. A large portion of this is of course paper gains, however I sold quite a bit of shares on the secondary market (e.g. Landbay, Revolut, ...) so there are also realized profits I am very staisfied with Seedrs even more since the secondary market allows some trading opportunities on top (but most of the time I just buy and hold).
You can see the development of my portfolio since 2016 in this thread with illustrating graphics The text is in German but you'll get the trends by the graphics.

With AC I feel completely stitched up, essentially all my "profits" are stuck on the platform with a small fraction becoming available every month. As a shareholder they've made a clever decision so I'm buying up others discounts
