I read somewhere that he took a 25% cut in salary when he went on "sick leave". His salary when working was around £72,000. Nice work if you can get it. It is entirely possible that under a flexible benefits scheme that particular employer might or still may have, he could have been making a salary sacrifice to increase the level of sick pay entitlement - in terms of %age of salary - that he gets paid during an entitlement period. It is possible that the scheme paid out 100% of salary for a set period, and then that dropped to another level after that period, but a uplift was due if additional contributions had been paid by the employee. The surprising thing is the duration it has lasted. Did either of you... read the article that was linked? £72k for a Systems Architect in IBM's Systems and Technology group, the server and infrastructure consulting side of the business, just before the crash? Not at all a surprising amount.

Links back to itself Hardly surprising ... he's probably realised that voter ID is a pan European thing so its now gerrymandering. I suspect its more a case of Tory voters stayed at home, not that they were prevented from voting by ID requirements Definitely amusing given those screaming about it before the election were the left, now those screaming about it afterwards are the right ... funny what some democracy can do. I see Kier isnt fussed about repealing it

Fixed the link for you: Local elections 2023: Voter ID backfired on Tories, says Rees-MoggYes, I saw this, read it and had to pick my jaw off the floor. Whether he intended to be as honest as suggesting that the Tories were trying to covertly rig results I'm not sure. Maybe he forget to get nanny to proof read his speech.

This is an oldie, but as a keen traveller nothing exemplifies the entitled attitude of Americans more than this (fortunately now banned) practice.

How on earth did this even get to a tribunal, but then I guess she will now take it further because they didn't believe her www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-65632912had her boss been Adrian Lionel Charlesworth, she'd have taken that as a "a large c**k", I think she needs help

The IMF expects the UK economy to grow by 0.4% in 2023, whereas last month it forecast it would contract by 0.3%. I think they are about as useful as the FCA

Can't believe that there are still conservative MP'S who believe he can make a come back as PM.
