On Wednesday, seven justices at the UK's highest court ruled that the Manchester Ship Canal Company is able to sue United Utilities over the release of raw sewage into the canal. Speaking to the BBC, one lawyer said owners of adjacent waterways or even members of the public could bring claims against other utility companies as a result.

Glamorgan were playing Gloucestershire at cricket today.
Set 593 runs to win in the 4th innings, Glamorgan finished on 592 all out, with their number 11 batsman dismissed off the final ball of the game. Had they managed one more run it would have been the highest 4th innings run chase in first class cricket anywhere in the world in the 250 year history of the game (that's about 62,000 first class games).

Captain Sir Tom Moore's daughter Hannah Ingram-Moore and her husband Colin have been disqualified from being charity trustees by the Charity Commission. Ms Ingram-Moore has been disqualified for 10 years, while her husband has been disqualified for eight, the Charity Commission confirmed, external.

Just the war on FAX machines now You missed out Telex machines, and photocopiers where the page came out wet and ....... Nah they are long defunct but the NHS as just one organisation still has hundreds of fax machines in regular use,

Even more unfortunately, somebody posted the news up into one of my cycling whats app groups at 16:44 yesterday. I was a bit P*****d. I still watched the highlights, but given the way he got through it would have been SOOOO much more exciting to not know the punchline.

even more so as it was "playing together" not "playing with each other" Still, that Raducanu, she's a bit of alright ain't she ? You realise how inappropriate and misogynistic it is to sexualise someone who is just doing their job as a professional sportswoman don't you?
