If my understanding of what you say and what you say is correct, then this is an example of a nonsense bit of news. The news is simply reporting a government action - removing immediately the single overall classification. It's been on the cards for ages, but Sunak never got round to it before the election. www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-68106248The case that prompted it was sad... www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-65651606...but was it that one word that was really the problem? After all, it hadn't even been published when she killed herself. Or was it actually an inadequate head who hadn't been picked up earlier?

What I didn’t know, the headteachers premises could have possession of firearms. It was the husband's legally-held shotgun. He wasn't employed by the school - he was an accountant. She was the head.

So, are you saying it is perfectly “legal” to bring a firearm to school as long as the person is licensed and authorised?
This is not part of ofsted or any independent school inspection report.

"News" might be tenuous, but... Bless. They really are a bit triggered by a successful woman, aren't they?

I see the government north of the border are implementing a series of cost cutting measures in order that they can balance the books this year. One of the measures being considered is scrapping free bus travel for people in the asylum system.

I suggest the defendant would have a bit of a problem in demonstrating that "the allegations are substantially true".

At face value this appears a bit daft, but there is probably some common sense in there somewhere.
- access to the new car park is via an upgraded A40
- the design for the upgrade is over budget so the award of a contract is delayed
- a park and ride car park is probably getting grants from all sorts of different pots, but has to be built to the original programme or you loose funding.

and you have the stupidity of single year budgets in Local Government the NHS etc, with the idiocy of spend it or lose it.
spend meant spend and be billed by the supplier, and of course money isn't spent unless goods received.

www.oxfordshire.gov.uk/residents/roads-and-transport/roadworks/future-transport-projects/a40-improvements/eynsham-park-and-rideJust checked Google maps. If the builders have access to build it, the access exists some where right. Last time I checked is Cuckoo Lane. Is this the latest attempt to ask for more money from central government by telling it won't be operational in 2027?
