up to date dashboard info, when I go into the standard investments dashboard one of the first things I see is the amounts, then a section titled "performance so far" in BOLD, then to its right in much smaller lighter font is a message telling me the performance so far was "Updated: 20 September 2021 18:03"...... I have noticed this date can be a few days ago, is this message a new(ish) addition or something I just haven't noticed before? considering other financial accounts are up to date all the time I hope this isn't Zopa slacking, maybe since Mr Clive Sinclair passed away last week zopa's Sinclair spectrum computer isn't running at its best to keep all zopas accounts up to date ? I know its not the end of the world but i'd like to know what you lot think, thanks.

I know its not the end of the world but i'd like to know what you lot think, thanks. View Attachment Not sure its wrong exactly and its an addition since the February system changes. Originally it used to state the current date and time when one loaded the screen but they recently changed it to match up with the statements clock which was usually 1-2 hours adrift depending on the clock setting on the statements server's. Prior to the recent clock changes they used to have statements out by 2 hours when it was working. The clock you mention used to show todays time and date when the screen loaded. So i asked a couple of months ago for them to make sure the clocks were at least accurate and they decided changed that clock to the most recent statements update for your account. Whilst its not ideal and i think the clock is accurate now but i've not been in the system collecting data when the updates are occurring so i don't know what they really did and if its that accurate. All in all its not that great in my view if the clocks are not even correct but since they dropped the actual statements detail it's not easy to see the real date and time of a given background run like the statements updates. To be fair to Zopa they have any number of actual background processes running at any given time so anyone with relend turned on and checking the statements may notice changes potentially occurring all the time depending how much detail one is recording from the screen. One thing to consider is that Zopa only seems to do statements updates on Weekdays and Saturdays - I think they may have stopped the Saturday runs as they seem to do most during the day now (Since i stopped drawing down and turned on Re-lend I'm not so keen on collecting small changes). Sometimes there may be processes running that hold things up as well. System updates - bug fixes etc - depending on their complexity could also hold back the daily runs. In my view Zopa has never been very helpful in detailing these if at all but that said as the system updates in February took a week or so and also failed abysmally on the first attempt and were then delayed at least they had to tell us they were happening - Sadly they lost data for a number of people with the weeks delay when one of their processes got confused by the hold up and some loans were closed/completed and failed to make it to the most recent data we now have access to. I do agree with your spectrum picture somedays it certainly seems like they are not that capable but hey they are slowly fixing all the issues and at some point they will get yearly PDF reports to show data that enables some of us to report the correct taxable items to HMRC too. (Zopa's changes in February are still trying to catch up with useful information on returns but sadly have not made it as yet!) Update: Watch out for the strangely named activity log which really just shows money movements in and out of the relevant accounts. In my case this shows funding and account movements and was last showing august when i turned relend on and made quite a few lending adjustments. I think the performance should be probably the time you enter the screen and the statement be when they were last updated but at least accurate times but i think they chickened out and couldn't find someone experienced in server clock setting to match british clock time changes.

Mostly based on gut instinct it seems like most of the updates I see (generally driven by loan repayments) get processed in bulk during the evening on weekdays. I usually log in most mornings to check the status of things and generally find the totals have changed Tuesday-Saturday morning (i.e. after a mon-fri evening update run). The only changes during the day is if any loans have been made from the funds I have queued (which generally seem to happen during the day mon-sat). At odd times when I've logged in in the evening (I think around 7pm) I've sometimes seen the all the numbers change between page refreshes.

I could be wrong, but I suspect the "updated" date simply gives the date and time of the last transaction in the account, e.g. the last time any interest was received. I only have 7 loans left, so have very few payments per month. Updated: date is currently 10 September 2021 17:00.

Since the system is effectively in read only mode as defined by most recent messages due to the recent system failures then i reckon that the time is currently showing the last time it replenished its tables from the main system. This probably means what we can see at present on the main screen is not what the backend system is presenting. Well that's what i hope is the case the main systems managing our funds are still working but the presentation screens and their sub tables are not currently working. I hope that's the case but until i can see our loanbook data again its anybody's guess i feel. (The loanbook is currently unavailable.)
