Based on a recent post by danraj , is it the case that Huddle Capital is now part of Ablrate, and comes under Ablrate's FCA authorisation? Or is just it that Ablrate maintains the HC website which has no security certificate, flagging Google and AV security warnings? ablrate p2pindependentforum.com/post/452062/thread |

And so far as I know, no notification, from HC, FCA or Rebs, to HC investors. No notifications, but it probably doesn't matter because nobody can invest on HC anyway. The last general update I can find was on 23 March 2021 "...we wish to inform you that the website has been temporarily closed to new lenders and borrowers and we have restricted the secondary market use however you can still make withdrawals and access your account..". And then something about restructuring and exciting news in near future.... I understood it as "wind down with some ideas of starting a new business". I might be wrong but it looks like wind down to me. I'me very happy with the outcome. XIRR 13.21% and the remaining sum is half size of the profit already made, so I don't expect any loss from HC. I always thought of HC as a part time temporary business. Everything from no direct authorisation to very slow processing of withdrawals suggested temporality to me.

Well, even more time has flown and no news at all. I've started prodding them and I'll come back if anything shows up. I've made a withdrawal on 17th June. Nothing arrived to my bank account yet. HC has never been consistent with processing withdrawals, I recall one of them took about 10 days, but this one seems to be getting stuck for much longer.

I've been keeping an eye on Companies House for Huddle; DJP SERVICES NE LIMITED as Huddle is now called. The change of name was made in May 22 and a confirmation statement is dated today so there is presumably some life left.... |

Looks like HC is dead. Luckily I have very small sum there and earned more than the current capital left on the platform (if no more payments come my XIRR will be 7.84%).

I've tried the old fashioned way of contacting them - the phone - see here. The phone - good old landline - was picked up immediately by a helpful lady who confirmed that the platform is still there but that sadly my loan isn't really - they can't find the borrower. Also promised to look into the email non-responses. We'll see. df it might be worth you ringing them about your withdrawal... |

Huddle have not been back to me following the phone call yesterday. I think it is probably time for everyone who has money with Huddle to start considering their options... A good start would be to ring them; the more people who do that will strengthen the position that lenders are still interested and won't quietly fade into the background no matter what.

I only have one loan left with Huddle which is in default - 100067. I have an email address for a nice lady called Stef who emailed me a couple of weeks ago re. this loan after I asked if there were any progress. I have pm'd you her email address dh1 |

Given the issues (above and) with Acce** Comm****** Inv****** on Ablrate, it may be that Huddle is no longer operating. They just aren't saying so (or indeed anything at all) at the moment.

I've received a small repayment from one of the loans on 12th August. This time I didn't request it, it's been sent automatically to my bank account. I was chasing my previous withdrawal made in March that hasn't been processed and was reassured it will be processed. So it looks like the platform is still operating.

No choice. FCA effectively blocked Rebs from being an AR a while ago so the platforms using it either had stop lending, pivot to unregulated (which is what Huddle have largely done) or get their own licence (Sourced) Will this changed anything for platforms like HC?
