Thatnks paulg for the correction   ; How long ago did that occer; is there a thread where it was discussed that you can direct me towards (it would be nice to see the reaction of members)? PBL035 last May was one of them. In a short time they will be lending on other kind of ships. Space-ships. Well there's certainly enough empty space on the new website for a few ships, but if they're moving into space they will need to build up their communications department considerably.

The cost of a single launch of the space shuttle was 1.2 billion USD. Assuming 1.5 USD to GBP and 70% LTV, that's a loan of 560 million GBP. Would probably be snapped up by the Chinese state pension fund or perhaps by m*************3, leaving none for the rest of us  |

Buried in that article was this amusing item... It didn't report NASA's reaction.

Well nearly 5% of the loan book just paid back (~3/60 million), so having 7% of your funds in those is not a million miles from "diversified", especially if you arrived too late for some of the early offerings, or decided to not invest in those loans which are 3-4 months overdue.
The issue is 'not enough loans' (and even fewer unrelated borrowers), plus a secondary market which makes diversifying as challenging as accumulating a decent collection of Picasso originals.
