Just need the £ to go up a bit now so my hols aren't as expensive. Don't hold your breath (albeit I'm in a similar situation having booked holiday flights but not accommodation yet)

I should hurry up, before the BOE issues another supportive press release...

Don't be fooled by the current markets, we'll see real turbulence once (if) Article 50 is enforced.

Then we'll see how they like being excluded from our single market.

If the SM is (apparently) now starting to thin out, will this encourage SS to expedite loans in the pipeline to keep things moving? As an exile from FC, I've always tried to avoid becoming a diversity criminal, but now spending more time in SS I've now run out of loans that I feel inclined to invest in.

In their most recent update, SS said "It is the prudent, sensible and cautious choice for the time being whilst we wait for the dust to settle, given recent events <brexit>", and "We believe it will be back to business as usual shortly". SS will be keeping an eye on the current pre-fund loans pre-funding figures to see if they can get back to pushing new loans through; the most recent loan (during the SM becoming static) only attracted 768 invested, as opposed to the normal 2000ish investors, so when they start to see those sort of interested investors again we'll see some new loans appearing. Looking at the SM, it looks like we could be seeing FFF again in a couple of days; so I would guess there will be some new loans within a couple of weeks.

I have all larger loans un-prefunded now, but leave a moderate target on the smaller loans. (I wasn't stung by the London "flood"; I downsized my prefunding to exactly what I wanted, and received exactly that. Then the b*ggers backed off on one of my choice morsels!)

/mod hat off ..
It's almost impossible not to be a diversity criminal at SS (at least by Following Century's definition - i.e. 1% everywhere) as there just are not enough loans, and certainly not enough discrete borrowers. 8>. ABLRate and MT are not better .. perhaps spread between all 3 you could just about achieve it.
As CD says, I expect things will get back to 'normal' 'ere long, although maybe SS will have learned not to unleash 9 closely related, dubiously bullet-proof, loans all in the same instant (while simultaneously turning the screws on people kite flying large INPL overdrafts). Well I hope they have, since the resulting noise and panic was second only to the PBL020 noise and panic.

I hope SS aren't determining lender appetite by checking pre-fund levels. I've got a big appetite but it'll be a good few months before I trust pre-funding after what happened with the London loans go-live. Until they can show predictable behavior again my targets will remain firmly at zero. It won't be predictable until/unless SS tell us what the allocation algorithm is supposed to be (and then stick to it). Meantime I shall just assume any requests under £2k will likely get filled on the majority of loans.

The Huddersfield Block C has returned to 39%. Strange goings on... wonder where 57% actually came from
