I'm out. But I can't go without one last whinge. Given that Zopa are encouraging us to close our accounts, so they don't have to bother with us anymore, it would have been courteous to offer a 'download all statements' option, rather than oblige us to download each statement individually while trying to keep track that nothing has been missed.

I agree but in our case i am going to keep £1 in each account so as to maintain access. That said i would not think zopa can shut these down until the end of the tax year, given that their ability to provide accurate Tax year info in the latest pdf's. Mrs Aju has some savings accounts still so hers would i guess still be available anyway. (Just in case though I have already downloaded everything that is available - once i've analysed everything there may still be questions to be had too)

Having read the above, you may all be interested to know that access to your account is maintained even after closing, according to a pop-up window which appeared after I closed mine. Not sure how long for though.

I assume you must be able to access for your last tax statement at least. Is that 21/22 tax statement I assume.

But I will no doubt realise I need it when I'm about to fill in my tax form, and if I download/print it now I'll probably have lost it by then. My safe places tend to be so safe that I can never find things again!

Not sure how long for though. Probably when they have fixed their Tax/ISA statement generator. Sadly as far as i can tell in their haste to get rid of the Tax parts and then bring them back whilst purporting to not be telling us how to do our tax they have defined certain elements different to the way they used to - in our case I was dealing with their support teams who were and as far as i can tell still trying to work out the relevant columns and their contents last time i checked they fixed one part and break another. I noticed recently also they redefined my "early adopter payment" for December as "Bonus:Goodwill", again! whereas when i brought this to their attention back in March 2020 they did eventually fix it back to "bonus:Early adopter". These are small issues but when they made compensation payments 2/3 years ago for a major issue with our accounts they redefined these in the feb updates as taxable Bonuses rather than compensation payments that they were - I never agreed they were taxable when I accepted their offer of compensation. The original system defined these as non taxable items but their new system defined them as taxable - bit confused or what. My view is that they decided to drop the Tax statement title and no longer define tax items explicitly. My overall view was that they c**ked up so much of the platform that they found in reversing things they were then breaking other items in these fixes . In my view the definition of many items changed so much that the logic tables were no longer workable or worse fit for purpose. In this event its best to just report them as specific types and let us wrangle with the taxman!.

I've had various similar problems and arguments with Zopa, unlike you I have never got any compensation, I've given up at this point just not worth the hassle.
